Overview: As a SDET Manager at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage resources for 2 or more scrum teams, including conducting 1 on 1's, performance reviews, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, providing feedback, and setting goals.
- Monitor and prepare Quality Engineering (QE) metrics such as escaped defect percentage, release burn-down, GenAI tool usage and automation coverage.
- Ensure comprehensive testing coverage for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. This includes functional, regression, integration, and performance testing requirements.
- Plan and monitor releases, check issues in Jira Release view, and liaise with dev leads or project managers for any concerns.
- Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement remediation.
- Maintain the health of the Test Suites including adding new test cases, making updates, archiving and grooming.
- Monitor bugs daily, reviewing priority, labels, affected versions, fix versions, etc.
- Encourage and support the use of GenAI coding assistant tools to accelerate and improve the teams work product.
- Collaborate with the Automation Architecture team to develop automation test strategies and roadmaps.
- Maintain and improve automation health. Support and promote continuous improvement and QE enterprise standards.
- Attend weekly QE team meetings.
- Provide QE team updates for product-specific meetings.
- Attend RDLT and Quality Summit. Conduct/participate in regular meetings with the product delivery team.
- Hold meetings and provide feedback for external vendors.
- Participate in Scrum meetings including planning, grooming, standups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in technical roles with increasing responsibility and growth.
- Leadership experience, including direct management tasks, assigning work, mentoring and providing actionable feedback.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed agile teams.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, SREs, Engineering, and DevOps to assess issues and promote solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and technical concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Solid understanding of emerging technologies, industry trends, and their practical applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $100,000 to $140,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
