The Role
As the Head of Lifecycle Marketing you will be the strategic leader to own and scale our lifecycle marketing programs. This is a highly collaborative role that will need to influence and collaborate with our PM, Data, and Design teams as well as work closely with marketing teams like Growth Marketing.
We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable getting buy-in on lifecycle strategy from senior leadership as they are rolling up their sleeves and executing actual campaigns. This is an incredibly high impact role with the ability to shape and define the entire lifecycle strategy at Linktree.
What You’ll Own
- Lifecycle Strategy Leadership: Act as our internal champion and leader for lifecycle, developing and implementing comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies to improve activation, engagement, retention, and conversion to our subscription products.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Leverage behavioral, demographic, and marketing data to develop effective user segmentation to build tailored marketing campaigns.
- Campaign Development: Design and execute automated and manual email, push, and in-app messaging programs that help support cross-functional marketing campaigns and key product launches.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Be a trusted partner to our product org to ensure new features and product launches are thoughtfully incorporated into our messaging journeys. Work with growth and other marketing teams to build retention efforts against major acquisition campaigns.
- Performance Analysis: Track and report on key KPIs such as activation rates, churn, LTV, SaaS revenue, and campaign performance; be able to iterate quickly based on insights and A/B tests.
- Martech Strategy: Manage and optimize lifecycle marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Braze, Hightouch, HubSpot, etc.) and ensure effective campaign execution. Ensure we’re leveraging the most cutting-edge tools including the latest in AI to drive efficiency and efficacy.
Who We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing, ideally in a product-led or SaaS business
- Proven success in building full-funnel lifecycle programs that drive measurable results and ability to pitch new programs to leadership team
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools, segmentation frameworks, and experimentation methodologies
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in marketing analytics and familiarity with tools such as Amplitude, Hightouch, or similar analytics and data tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; equally comfortable talking to a Data Science team as you might a Creator Partnerships team.
- Passion for user experience, storytelling, and customer-centric marketing
Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $185,000-$200,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed.
