The Marketing Platforms team empowers Lightricks’ marketing and sales teams by building intelligent and scalable tools that boost efficiency and performance. We combine AI-driven innovation, seamless automation, and strategic integrations.

What you will be doing
- Lead a team of 6–8 engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in their professional development and daily work.
- Take ownership of the team’s delivery and execution, from planning and prioritization to quality and production stability.
- Remain hands-on and contribute to the codebase when needed, especially in complex or high-impact areas.
- Design highly available, mission-critical microservices and APIs.
- Architect and implement scalable data pipelines that integrate with multiple internal and external data sources.
- Drive the development of internal tools, campaign automation systems, dashboards, and reports to empower end users.
- Promote and implement engineering best practices for code quality, testing, observability, and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to shape solutions from idea to delivery.
Your skills and experience
- 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring a technical team.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable and highly available backend systems.
- Proficiency in backend development in any high-level programming language.
- Experience working in or managing teams in a startup-like, fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones.
- A track record of delivering complex technical projects on time.
