Job Summary
In 2019, Keyfactor decided to widen its investment and acquired Redtrust, a Spanish company pioneer in the management of people’s identity through the custody and management of digital certificates. Redtrust has a strong reputation for providing top-notch products and services in Spain. As a Senior Manager, you’ll be a key member of the engineering team and will develop & maintain Redtrust products.
You will oversee engineering teams and project execution, focusing on high-quality deliverables. You will provide mentorship, optimize processes, and ensure alignment with project and organizational goals.
The position is based in the Barcelona office, we have a hybrid work model and excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold valid Right to Work in Spain to apply for this position.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage engineering teams, overseeing project execution and team performance.
- Coordinate engineering efforts to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance engineering efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project and business objectives.
- Manage team resources, including staffing and tools.
- Ensure engineering practices meet quality and performance standards.
- Support the professional development of team members through coaching and mentorship.
- Identify and address project risks and technical challenges.
- Provide regular updates on project status and team performance to senior management.
Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strategic leadership, advanced managerial skills excellent stakeholder management.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and project management abilities.
- Ability to lead large teams, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and influence senior leadership.
- Ability to manage engineering teams, oversee multiple projects, and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
- In-depth understanding of company strategy, industry benchmarks, and market dynamics.
- Knowledge of software engineering processes, team management, and resource optimization.#LI-NA1
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
