About the Job

The Social Media Specialist will bring creative ideas to life across social media, driving content creation, community engagement and influencer partnerships. Reporting to the Social Media & Community Manager, this role will help shape the concepts, campaigns and assets that define Keeper’s brand across various social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day content creation, publishing and community engagement across multiple social media platforms and channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), and across multiple regions
  • Plan, write and edit engaging, on-brand copy for social media posts (captions, copy for graphics, animated videos and other visual assets, stories, short-form video scripts, etc.), with an understanding of tone of voice for each platform and audience
  • Assist the Social Media Manager with managing content calendars, contributing creative ideas and keeping deliverables on schedule
  • Engage with followers and online communities by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster authentic relationships and strengthen brand loyalty
  • Support influencer marketing initiatives by helping to identify, vet and collaborate with creators and partners to expand reach, drive awareness and align with campaign goals
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, communications, design and other internal and external teams to support integrated campaigns and key launches
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging platforms, features and best practices. Monitor social channels for trends, competitor activity and opportunities for real-time engagement
  • Track performance metrics, prepare reports and optimize content based on analytics

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience managing social media for a brand or agency
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to brand tone and consistency
  • Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
  • General knowledge of social media platform trends and algorithms
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, team members and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field is preferred

4. Who We Share Information With

Internal:

Third Parties:

Service providers who assist with:

  • Applicant tracking, recruitment systems and assessment providers
  • Background verification vendors (post offer)
  • Recruitment agencies (where applicable)
  • Tools to support communication, collaboration and to securely store your data

Keeper ensures that all our third parties are contractually bound to protect your personal data with adequate safeguards in place.

5. International Transfers

Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.

7. Retention

We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.

Exceptions:

  • You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
  • You're hired (transfers to employee records)

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights and can contact us at the email below to exercise them:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable law and retention requirements
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent (where applicable)
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

If you become an employee, your rights regarding your employee record are governed by our internal Employee Privacy Notice and certain data will be retained as required under relevant laws such as employment or tax law.

When you request access to your personal data, some information may be redacted if it includes the personal data of other individuals or information that we must protect in order to preserve their privacy rights.

9. Automated Decisions

Keeper does not make hiring decisions using solely automated processing.
