Core Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Management: Design and maintain end-to-end data workflows, from ingesting raw data into Snowflake to delivering finalized reports.
- Advanced Data Modelling: Build optimized Star and Snowflake schemas within Power BI to ensure high-performance reporting and scalable data architectures.
- Dashboard Development: Create, manage, and refine interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable business insights.
- Query Optimization: Write complex, high-performance SQL queries and stored procedures to handle data migrations and transformations.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Utilize Advanced Excel (including Power Pivot and VBA) for deep-dive troubleshooting and rapid analytical support for senior stakeholders.
Required Skill:
- Snowflake: Proficiency in Snowflake
- Power BI: Mastery of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations, Power Query (M language) for ETL, and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
- SQL: Expert-level knowledge of SQL for data manipulation, cleaning, and managing relational databases.
- Excel: Advanced capabilities in pivot tables, complex formulas, and data automation using VBA or Power Automate.
Common Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–8 years in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong ability to translate complex data into clear stories for non-technical stakeholders and work independently in time-critical environments
