The Inventory Production Technician is a hands-on role within our Supply Chain Operations team, focused on the testing and configuration of Datto hardware and software. This is a production-focused position requiring attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and configure components based on work orders and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Identify and report non-conforming assemblies and components.
  • Adhere to Invoice/Replacement SLAs and ensure timely imaging and labeling of stock appliances.
  • Manage monthly server order requirements efficiently.
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters (dykes), and drill guns.
  • Follow all operational procedures, safety rules, and company regulations.
  • Support other departments and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and intermediate computer navigation skills.
  • Strong time management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic documentation.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and solutions.
