We’re looking for a skilled Python Automated QA Engineer who can take ownership of test infrastructure, feature testing and help deliver innovative solutions for our customers. You’ll collaborate with a talented team, contribute to high-impact projects, and leverage modern tools to build scalable, maintainable, and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using Pytest, Ansible, and Selenium.
Develop and execute comprehensive test suites for APIs, web applications, and backend services.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Perform code reviews of test scripts and promote best practices in test automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test strategies.
Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to the development team.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building a high-performing QA culture.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 3+ years in automation using Pytest.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Pytest plugins.
Strong experience testing RESTful APIs and web applications.
Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
Hands-on experience with version control (e.g., Git, Github) and CI/CD tools.
Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with Windows and Linux.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with virtual environments (VMWare ESX , Hyper-V).
Knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with agile development environments and methodologies.
