We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer specializing in Backup Solutions to join our high-performing team in Miami. This role is a crucial part of our sales process—acting as the technical backbone of our sales cycle, delivering impactful product demonstrations, designing effective backup solutions, and guiding our customers through both pre- and post-sale journeys.
As a Solutions Engineer at Kaseya, you will:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Kaseya’s backup and IT management solutions.
- Deliver compelling, customized product demos tailored to customer needs.
- Support pre-sales solution design (technical and functional) and partner with account executives to drive deal success.
- Provide best practice consulting during post-sale implementations and, where applicable, own select post-sale accounts.
- Actively contribute to solution enhancement discussions based on client feedback and industry trends.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong grasp of IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure, and common network devices, along with a working knowledge of compliance standards like HIPAA, NIST, and PCI. Your ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and stay responsive to client feedback will be essential to your success.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of technical experience in software sales, preferably in backup or IT management solutions.
- Solid understanding of networks, systems, and applications.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools like OpenVAS.
- Experience working with standards like HIPAA, PCI, NIST, and CMMC.
- Knowledge of MSP service delivery models and ITSM practices (ITSM certification a plus).
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong sales process knowledge with proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly motivated, ethical, and professional with a collaborative mindset.
