Sr. Manager, APAC Facilities
Are you ready to take on a leadership role in managing and optimizing workplace operations across the APAC region? As the Senior Manager, APAC Facilities, you will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of our office and warehouse facilities in Bangalore, Barangaroo, and Alexandria. Your responsibilities will include space planning, workplace system maintenance, vendor management, compliance, and facilities-related projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the Bangalore Facilities team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of facilities operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all facilities operations across Bangalore, Barangaroo, and the Alexandria warehouse, ensuring seamless workplace functionality.
• Lead and manage the Bangalore facilities team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic facility management plans to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Lead vendor management efforts, including contract negotiations, service quality oversight, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for facility operations, identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for facility operations, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with corporate financial objectives.
• Ensure timely resolution of facilities-related issues by managing work orders, service requests, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain and enhance site documentation, including facility manuals, policies, and operational procedures.
• Manage office expansions, relocations, and refurbishment projects, ensuring on-time execution and proper resource allocation.
• Oversee seat assignments, coordinating new hires, internal moves, and office reconfigurations.
• Collaborate with Physical Security and Reception teams on badge provisioning, deprovisioning, and access control measures.
• Lead facilities support for employee onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth transition for staff.
• Serve as the primary liaison with landlords, tenants, and service providers to ensure adherence to workplace policies and procedures.
• Oversee office and warehouse maintenance, including supplies management, furniture coordination, and workspace cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, industry best practices, and regional compliance requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Extensive experience in facilities management across multiple locations in the APAC region.
• Strong knowledge of facility management systems for tracking work orders and project coordination.
• Proven ability to lead and manage vendor relationships, ensuring budgetary control and service excellence.
• Expertise in space planning, seat assignment optimization, and workplace design.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and seniority levels.
• Strong project management skills, including experience managing office moves, refurbishments, and expansion projects.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and implement facility policies, documentation, and reporting procedures.
• Familiarity with workplace health, safety, and compliance requirements specific to APAC.
• Proven ability to navigate the diverse regulatory and cultural environments across APAC, ensuring compliance with local and regional standards.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in facilities management or a related leadership role, with regional APAC experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Asana, JIRA, or Excel.
