We are looking for a Tech Lead Frontend to lead the development and optimization of our frontend applications, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly solutions. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and driving the modernization of the frontend stack.

IVIX employs a variety of AI tools (deep neural networks, large language models, and predictive modeling) as well as advanced data analytics to rapidly pinpoint large-scale illicit business activity, so government authorities can combat financial crime in the digital age.

Led by security, tech, tax and financial crime experts, and advised by a diverse team of former IRS commissioners, IVIX works with dozens of state and federal governments globally.

• Drive architectural decisions, ensuring team alignment and best practices.
• Lead by example through hands-on development, building scalable and performant frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions with strong business value.
• Design and optimize reusable component libraries and frontend infrastructure to improve development efficiency.
• Mentor and support developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

• At least 7 years of experience as a Full Stack or Frontend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, particularly React.js and Node.js.
• Deep knowledge of React.js concepts such as Context API, Reducers, and Life-Cycle methods.
• Proficient in building back-end applications using Node.js, with a solid understanding of server-side principles.
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms.
• Experience working with database engines such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Comfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with development aiding tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a creative approach
