Job Purpose:

We're hiring an Associate Engineering Manager to help lead our SDK Quality Squad, a cross-functional team on a mission to deliver the most stable, performant, and reliable mobile SDKs in the industry.

The Quality Squad ensures our core foundations are strong: crash-free experiences, consistent performance, and high confidence in every release.

This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about people leadership, thrives in cross-platform environments, and is excited by the challenge of scaling quality across multiple surfaces.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a diverse team of Android, iOS, cross-platform (Flutter & React Native), and Quality Control engineers
• Drive a high-quality execution rhythm, from planning to testing to post-release confidence
• Coach individuals, grow careers, and build a team culture that values ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement
• Help shape our SDK quality vision: zero-regression mindset, test coverage discipline, crash prevention checklists, and platform-specific excellence
• Collaborate with EMs, PMs, and Support to prioritize issues, unblock engineers, and deliver customer-impacting fixes swiftly
• Facilitate strong alignment between engineering and quality through shared goals and visibility

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with a solid understanding of at least one platform (Android, iOS, or cross-platform)
• Previous experience as a team lead, mentor, or new manager with a passion for people development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with individuals across engineering domains
• A bias toward servant leadership, you thrive when enabling others to do their best work
• Familiarity with agile practices, sprint execution, and performance feedback loops
