Overview: The Manager, Project Management is responsible for driving the planning, tracking, resourcing, task execution and status reporting to achieve successful execution of Inovalon Marketing projects.
The Manager, Project Management is accountable for providing team guidance, mentorship, and coordination, to enable and execute Marketing project deliverables within committed timeframes. This position will work closely with teams within Marketing and across the organization to deliver projects from beginning to end.
The Manager works closely with leadership to establish efficient, flexible, and repeatable processes and templates to implement Inovalon Marketing campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the management of marketing projects, including planning, tracking, resourcing, task execution and status reporting to achieve successful project outcomes;
- Mentor project managers by supporting skills development and career progression;
- Provides guidance and consistent communication of strategy to team leaders;
- Ensure the execution of Marketing projects to accomplish department objectives and goals in compliance with project scope, and ensure efficient and effective projects while proactively managing stakeholder expectations;
- Prepare for and conduct regular, recurring stand-up calls with Marketing team members to manage expectations, drive completion of project delivery activities and effectively resolve issues;
- Own the buildout, management and maintenance of annual department OKRs via Power BI;
- Assist with department budgeting and tracking
- Lead Marketing due diligence and integration activities for future acquisitions
- Work closely with AVP, Marketing Operations to continually improve and automate processes
- Define and drive strategies that allow the team to scale and improve output;
- Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven industry experience managing high-volume Marketing projects
- Experience using project management software (Monday.com preferred)
- Understanding of industry standards (e.g. PMI, Agile), project/program/strategy management methodologies and change management fundamentals;
- Leads and manages employees, delegating work, assigning projects, providing guidance and development opportunities, as well as reviewing and providing feedback on performance on a regular basis;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, subject matter experts, internal / external customers and peers;
- Analytic, detail-oriented and highly motivated with the ability to work independently; and
- Proficient in MS Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Education:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent; and
- CAPM, PMP (PMI) certification or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time).
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.
- Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
- Subject to inside environmental conditions.
- Travel for this position will include up to 20% travel.

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
