Job Description Summary
We are seeking a strategic and technically savvy CRM Product Owner to lead the evolution of our CRM SaaS platform, with a focus on optimizing leasing and resident journeys in the multifamily real estate space. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of lead nurturing, pricing & availability, quoting, and automation across our ecosystem. This role is pivotal in transforming leasing and resident journeys through intelligent automation, and personalized resident experiences. You will work cross-functionally with development, UI/UX, product owners, and sales teams to define, prioritize, and deliver AI-powered solutions that elevate the leasing lifecycle—from prospect engagement to resident retention.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Own the CRM product roadmap, prioritizing features that enhance leasing and resident engagement
- Collaborate with stakeholders across leasing, marketing, operations, and engineering to define and deliver CRM capabilities
- Lead, design and optimize workflows for lead nurturing, quoting, fee structures, and unit availability (e.g., scheduling tours, qualifying leads, answering FAQs).
- Drive automation and AI integration to streamline prospect and resident experiences
- Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to iterate and improve functionality
- Ensure compliance with multifamily industry standards, Federal / State Fair Housing and data privacy regulations
- Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Own the product backlog, prioritize features, and manage sprint planning with agile teams.
- Monitor performance metrics and iterate based on user feedback and data insights.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in CRM or SaaS platforms
- Deep understanding of multifamily leasing processes, resident lifecycle, and property management operations
- Proven experience with CRM systems, lead management, quoting engines, and availability tools
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies and AI applications in customer engagement
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Knock, or similar CRM tools
- Familiarity with leasing metrics, fee structures, and multifamily compliance requirements
- Background in UX/UI collaboration and customer journey mapping
Organizational Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in AI, SaaS, or CRM platforms
- Experience in Multifamily, PropTech, or real estate technology is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams
- Ability to leverage data analytics to inform product decisions and measure success
- Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibilit
Physical Demands:
- Incumbents must be able to view computer screens, mobile devices, and other electronic equipment for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.
- Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to ten (10) pounds independently and twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance.
- 25% Domestic travel will be required to attend projects, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of responsibilities of this position
