Job Description
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Bluetent’s key clients, ensuring their long-term success and growth. This role focuses on driving client satisfaction, optimizing digital marketing and distribution strategies, and identifying opportunities to expand Bluetent’s solutions across the vacation rental industry. The Strategic Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize their performance through data-driven insights and innovative marketing solutions.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular strategic business reviews to assess performance, provide recommendations, and align on future initiatives.
- Proactively address client concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Track key account performance metrics, ensuring clients are achieving their goals.
- Provide data-driven recommendations based on analytics, industry benchmarks, and emerging market trends.
- Assist clients in leveraging technology and marketing tools to increase direct bookings and optimize revenue.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Bluetent’s suite of services, including digital marketing, website solutions, and distribution strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to tailor solutions that drive measurable results for clients.
- Analyze client data and industry trends to provide strategic insights and maximize ROI on digital marketing and distribution efforts.
- Advocate for clients’ needs internally to help shape product development and service enhancements.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in account management, digital marketing, or strategic consulting, preferably within the vacation rental, hospitality, or travel technology industry.
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, direct booking strategies, and digital distribution channels.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear, actionable manner.
- Proactive problem solver with a client-first mindset and a passion for driving business success.
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
- Experience using CRM and marketing analytics tools to manage client relationships and track success.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience
