Job Description Summary
The Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for ensuring new products and services introduced in the Leasing and Marketing product line are successfully aligned with customers’ strategic goals. This role integrates account expansion, client experience, client relationship, program and event management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful visibility into the product roadmap and direction. The Dir. of Strategic Partnerships will participate in management of customer advisory initiatives and drive client top enhancements ensuring alignment with company goals across all customer verticals.
The ideal candidates will have a property management background, multifamily SMB, Mid and Enterprise markets. Experience with proven innovation skills, the ability to be a catalyst for change in a matrixed environment, management experience and experience with B2B and B2C products. The Director, Strategic Partnerships, addresses client market demands and evaluates the relevant competition threat to achieve long-term client stability for the organization.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Business Relationship Management - Leverage client relationships for general business purposes and manage contract renewals and negotiations previously handled by the four Anyone Home sales team members.
- Drive Strategic Engagement Initiatives - Design and execute high-value engagement strategies that deepen relationships with top-tier clients, including executive briefings, roadmap announcements, training, co-innovation sessions, and strategic planning workshops
- Support Account Management team in Quarterly Business Review presentations and Annual Business Plans
- Monitor client satisfaction, facilitate improvement as needed, and regularly communicate with clients’ key stakeholders in conjunction with the Account Management team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align engagement activities with broader business goals and to capture actionable client insights, retention, and growth.
- Measurement & Reporting - Establish KPIs to track the effectiveness of engagement programs. Report regularly on program performance, client satisfaction, and strategic insights gathered from key accounts.
- Support Industry Principle and Software Trainer - Support the Leasing and Marketing Industry Principle with Anyone Home knowledge and product release updates. Work with the software trainer to provide more engaging and effective software training, driven by client feedback
- Developing and implementing comprehensive account strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Providing support in resolving complex client issues.
- Conducting market assessments and competitive analyses to identify opportunities and mitigate client risks.
- Using data-driven insights to develop business cases and influence outcomes.
- Event Management Oversight - In partnership with the Event Marketing Manager, assist in the planning and execution of in-person and virtual client engagement events, ensuring high-impact experiences that foster trust and advocacy
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- 7+ years of SaaS account management / sales experience, including customer success
- Proven track record in developing and managing strategic accounts, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets
- Experience in analyzing market trends, developing strategies, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Proficient in CRM software, data analysis tools and project management
- Passion for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-Level executives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams
- Ability to leverage data analytics to inform product decisions and measure success
- Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs, researching and/or subscribing other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) or Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) desired but not required
