Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our team and support our financial operations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for financial management and business strategy. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, maintain compliance, and support decision-making processes.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities):
- Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and provide insights on revenue and cost trends.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking to ensure financial efficiency across departments.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Work with internal teams to assess financial and accounting processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Data Management & Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards using tools like SAP, Power BI, SQL, and Python to support decision-making.
- Process Automation: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and reporting cycles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders from operations, cybersecurity, and business strategy to integrate financial planning with broader company objectives.
- Contract & Vendor Analysis: Support the review of vendor contracts and payment automation processes to optimize financial transactions and cost savings.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field (internships included).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, SAP, Power BI, SQL, and Python for data analysis.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and present financial insights clearly.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance monitoring.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Experience in process automation or efficiency improvement is a plus.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
