Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
Research Design & Oversight: Design population-level and panel studies, develop research briefs, and oversee agencies and academic partners conducting the fieldwork.
- Agency & Partner Management: Select, brief, and manage external research agencies and academic institutions; ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables.
- Data Analytics & Interpretation: Review, validate, and interpret external research data to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights for decision-making.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the organization in academic and professional networks; co-develop joint studies with universities and think tanks to strengthen credibility.
- Knowledge Translation: Prepare and present research findings and recommendations tailored for C-level management, project teams, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Research design – Middle Level:
-Design population-level and panel studies
-Develop research briefs, and oversee agencies and academic partners conducting the fieldwork.
- Quantitative survey – Middle Level:
– Can design and conduct short quantitative surveys and experiments.
– Proficient in data collection and cleaning techniques.
– Proficient with statistical software like SPSS, R, or Excel.
– Understanding of sampling methods and error calculation.
- Qualitative survey – Middle Level:
– Understanding of the principles of qualitative research.
– Ability to conduct simple interviews or focus groups.
– Skills in collecting and summarizing qualitative data.
– Can identify themes or patterns in qualitative data.
– Familiarity with techniques for ensuring the reliability and validity of qualitative data.
- Insight Reporting – Middle Level:
– Understanding of the principles of reporting and presenting research findings.
– Ability to summarize and report basic research findings.
– Can create simple charts, graphs, or tables to display data.
– Familiarity with presentation software like PowerPoint or Google Slides.
– Understands the importance of clear and concise communication.
- Project management – Middle Level:
– Able to work effectively as part of a project team.
– Understanding of project management principles.
– Can assist in planning and organizing simple research projects.
– Familiarity with basic project management tools and techniques.
– Can monitor project progress and report issues to the project lead.
– Understands the importance of meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
- Market Analysis – Middle Level:
– Understanding of the principles of market analysis.
– Ability to conduct simple market research, such as internet searches or customer surveys.
– Can identify basic market trends and patterns.
– Familiarity with basic statistical concepts.
– Understands the importance of market segmentation and target marketing.
