Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high performance microservices in Go (Golang).
• Work on complex distributed systems handling millions of transactions daily with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
• Optimize database performance through smart indexing and efficient queries for large scale document storage.
• Implement encryption strategies and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to define clear API contracts and deliver seamless, responsive experiences.
• Integrate with a wide range of external services and APIs to expand platform functionality.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate real world business needs into robust, scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Golang Proficient in APIs and microservices architecture, including design and implementation
• Good experience with SQL databases MySQL, PostgreSQL and familiarity with non relational databases
• Experience with event driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Good grasp of server side and client side development limitations
• Ability to implement technical solutions within a team setting
• Previous experience working with geospatial data or building Geo enabled products (e.g., maps, routing, location based services)
• Familiarity with tools like PostGIS, GIS libraries, routing engines or map data ingestion pipelines will be considered a strong advantage.
