Responsibilities
- Own and manage full-cycle HR operations across multiple countries in the region (hire-to-retire).
- Supervise payroll, compliance, and vendor coordination, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead a team of 2+ HR professionals, setting clear goals and priorities.
- Ensure operational excellence in onboarding, employee lifecycle management etc.
- Track employee sentiment and complaints, providing regular updates to P&C and local leadership.
- Maintain smooth collaboration with finance and legal teams on payroll, contracts, and invoicing.
- Monitor regional HR KPIs and ensure timely reporting.
- Implement local and global HR initiatives, suggesting improvements in HR processes and engagement.
- Maintain awareness of labor legislation (including union-related issues) and support compliance.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for business leaders, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
- Proven experience working in international companies with matrix reporting structures.
- Solid track record managing vendors and supporting multiple locations.
- Experience dealing with labor legislation, payroll processes, and cross-border HR tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively implement or improve HR processes and engagement practices.
- Strong prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Assertive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Based in Cairo, Egypt.
