Job Overview
Experienced, energetic, and detailed project manager to manage customer food safety, traceability, and quality management software implementation projects. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills to work with our customers and internal teams to deliver successful customer implementations and programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage independently complex customer implementations and software development enhancements.
- Create a detailed project execution plan (PEP) which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Prepare and implement a communication plan that meets the client reporting requirements and keeps all personnel involved in the project informed. Manage all communication amongst the team to foster an open environment of positive communication and teamwork to proactively solve issues and successfully execute the project scope.
- Determine the resources (time, people, software, etc.) required to complete the project and develop and manage to achieve on-time delivery.
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
- Determine the client objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
- Meet or exceed objectives by forecasting requirements, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Enhance client relationships through proactive and positive communication, and by recognizing and delivering on client key issues and expectations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to provide mentor and guidance to less experienced team members.
Qualifications
- 5+ years project / program management experience delivering customer software implementations, including custom software and integrations.
- Proven experience managing customer requirements and partnering with implementation and development to successfully deliver on customer requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet or another project management software application.
Compensation:
The salary for this position typically ranges from $100,320 - $114,000. This range is intended to reflect prevailing salaries in different geographic locations across the United States as well as the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
