About the role
We are currently seeking a contract Account Manager to cover for an Account Manager on maternity leave July - December 2025. This position is 35 hours/week, Monday through Friday, The ability to work on-site from our Paris office, 2 days per week, with the remaining 3 days/week worked virtually, is required.
The Account Manager role works to ensure that our customers are maximising the value they are receiving from our products and services. We’re dedicated to making our customers successful, and the Account Management team drives that success daily. Account Managers work to drive value that leads to expansion, renewal, and customer satisfaction. You will focus on ensuring retention of existing client portfolio and on finding additional opportunities within current client accounts by nurturing lasting relationships with key decision makers.
What you'll do
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand clients' business needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
- Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions with clients.
Account Growth and Retention
- Own the renewal process, ensuring contracts are renewed on time and at favorable terms.
- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer goals and identifying additional products or services that meet their needs.
- Optimize and execute account plans for key customers to maximize revenue potential.
Commercial Operations
- Track and manage pipeline for renewals, upsells, and cross-sells, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to manage contract negotiations and approvals.
Partnership with Customer Success
- Partner with Customer Success Associates to stay informed on customer health, engagement levels, and potential risks.
- Use insights from CSAs to inform renewal and upsell strategies, ensuring a customer-first approach to account management.
- Coordinate with CSAs to address any obstacles that could impact account growth or retention.
Product Expertise and Advocacy
- Maintain deep knowledge of our product offerings, features, and benefits.
- Provide clients with insights on how to effectively use our solutions to achieve their goals.
- Gather and relay client feedback to the product development team to drive continuous improvement.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in quota-carrying account management or sales roles. Real Estate or PropTech experience is preferable but not a must
- Strong understanding of the current Real Estate landscape and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
- Proven track record managing and growing client accounts whilst achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools
- Language skills: fluent in French and English required. Dutch or Italian is a plus
- Ability to travel for occasional onsite visits to clients in Paris in addition to travel within Continental Europe (once every 2 months on average)
