We need a visionary doer to work directly with our CEO and make this global movement unstoppable.
The Role
As the Quantum City Initiative Manager, you’ll partner with the CEO to build the QCI ecosystem—a worldwide network of cities, leaders, and innovators redefining urban life. You’re a master storyteller, a partnership builder, and an execution rockstar who thrives on big goals. Your mission: produce a game-changing podcast, establish QCI chapters in 50 cities, and create a must-attend annual conference that draws thousands—all to cement HqO as the leader in Quantum Cities.
What You’ll Do
- Produce a Weekly Video Podcast: Create and host a world-class QCI podcast, securing 25 top-tier guests in Year 1 (e.g., urban tech pioneers, city mayors, quantum computing experts).
- Develop Local QCI Chapters: Formalize public-private partnerships to launch QCI chapters in 50 cities over 3 years, connecting key stakeholders like municipalities, developers, and tech hubs.
- Produce the Annual Quantum City Conference: Design and execute a landmark event that grows to 5,000+ attendees by Year 3, showcasing QCI’s vision and impact.
- Drive Measurable Impact: Achieve 5,000 cumulative event attendees and 50 cities formally joined to the QCI ecosystem by Q4 2027.
Outcomes You’ll Own
- Podcast Success: Launch a weekly QCI podcast with 25 top-tier guests in Year 1 (e.g., thought leaders, policymakers), reaching 10,000+ monthly downloads by Year 2.
- Chapter Growth: Onboard 50 cities by Q4 2027, with 10 chapters in Year 1, 20 in Year 2, and 20 in Year 3, each with formalized partnerships.
- Conference Scale: Grow the Quantum City Conference from 250 attendees in Year 1 to 5,000 by Year 3, with 80%+ attendee satisfaction and 5,000 cumulative attendees by Q4 2027.
- Ecosystem Impact: Drive 5,000+ total event attendees across all QCI events by Q4 2027.
