We’re looking for a Principal Solutions Consultant to lead and execute implementation projects for Hootsuite and Talkwalker products and solutions in order to contribute to long term customer success. You’ll work closely with our success team, leading multiple implementation projects simultaneously in a highly collaborative environment, ensuring deliverables are on time and aligned to customer needs. This is a hybrid role and is open to applicants located within commuting distance of Talkwalker's Tokyo office. In this role, you will report to the Managing Director, Japan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Client Onboarding and Implementation

  • Act as the product subject-matter-expert, responsible for technical implementation services and use-case solutions
  • Manage large/ complex implementation work independently
  • Manage internal and client-facing meetings to discuss the client’s information brief and needs; engages with client teams to understand their goals for using Talkwalker and how the platform will fit into their daily work
  • Train new and existing client groups on the platform, covering navigation, best practices, and use cases
  • Configure platform environments according to client requirements
  • Assist the department lead in assigning projects to consultants based on availability, skillset and project complexity

Post Implementation

  • Support clients with post implementation ad hoc requests, providing strategic solutions to complex use cases
  • Provide intelligence reports to customers, working with the Talkwalker platform to answer the client’s specific business questions
  • Audit customers projects and advise on best practices
  • Support webinars and answers client chat questions during webinars
  • Work in collaboration with Client Success and Sales teams to manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service

Product/ Process

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Talkwalker products, customers, and processes
  • Identify areas for improvement in the customer experience both in our product and processes
  • Provide product feedback and test new beta versions of Talkwalker

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 8+ years of experience in any of the following industries: media monitoring, consumer insights/market research, PR/comms/digital/ creative agency, or management consulting
  • Project Management: have been working in roles across the digital landscape and possess advanced project management experience
  • Analysis and Problem solving: at ease with analysis and have relevant experience in deriving insights from large data sets; strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills, engaging with large and small audiences
  • Have a university degree or an equivalent qualification, fluent in English
  • An aptitude for explaining how solutions work, why people need them, the value they will provide, where they can take a business and how they can get there.
  • Very deep knowledge of the challenges faced by 2 or 3 industries or is viewed as industry specialist in 1 or 2 industries, and actively seeks out opportunities in those markets.
  • Advanced knowledge of all social use cases in marketing, social selling, advocacy and service.
  • Fully conversant in technologies surrounding our ecosystem such as media production, adtech, martech, CRM, BI.
  • Fully conversant in martech and/or service architectures, including data flows and API usage .
  • The ability to formulate, and credibly present, a suggested project plan and roadmap.
