Our VP of Product Marketing is building a world-class team that elevates Honeycomb’s story and drives market leadership in observability. The collecting mission of the product marketing team is to win more business by effectively reaching and explaining the value of our platform to prospects, customers and sellers (internal) across all the categories we play in. To achieve this mission each Product Marketing Managers (PMM) is an integral part of the Marketing organization who collaborates cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, DevRel and Analysts to bring new products to market and increase adoption of existing ones. As a Principal Product Marketing Manager you will have end-to-end ownership of high-impact launches and the freedom to experiment quickly, backed by a culture that values fast learning and inclusivity.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Own the end-to-end GTM strategy for Honeycomb’s core platform and upcoming enterprise offerings - from market research through launch and lifecycle growth
- Craft crisp, differentiated messaging and positioning that highlights Honeycomb’s unique value for engineering leaders, practitioners, and economic buyers.
- Partner with Product Management to shape the roadmap with data-backed market insights and ensure tight alignment between product capabilities and buyer needs.
- Lead sales and partner enablement, building competitive battlecards, demos, collateral, and pricing/packaging guidance that accelerate deal velocity.
- Serve as internal subject-matter expert on the observability landscape; drive competitive intelligence, analyst relations, and thought-leadership programs (webinars, events, blogs)
- Measure and optimize launch and campaign performance via pipeline impact, win rates, adoption metrics, and experiment results - living our “Everything is an experiment” value.
- Partner with other PMMs, establishing scalable frameworks and best practices across messaging, launches, and enablement.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience, with 2+ years at the principal/lead level in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, observability, or adjacent markets.
- Proven track record of crafting platform narratives and driving enterprise product launches that exceeded pipeline and adoption goals.
- Deep technical empathy. Able to translate complex engineering concepts into business value for C-suite, buyer, and practitioner personas.
- Strategic thinker who synthesizes market, competitive, and customer insights to influence product strategy and pricing/packaging decisions.
- World-class storyteller and presenter; comfortable briefing analysts, executives, and conference audiences.
- Strong project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills; adept at influencing without authority in a remote-first environment.
- Data-driven mindset with fluency in Salesforce, Tableau (or similar) and experimentation to measure GTM success.

Base pay range for this role is $220,000- $259,000 based on level of experience
