You will be accountable for the full “first mile” of the journey: how travelers arrive, orient themselves, explore options, compare tradeoffs, and decide. Your mandate is to shape how the marketplace functions as a decision system that helps users narrow options, understand value, and trust what they see, consistently across Web and App.
Operating with a system-level mindset, you will translate company strategy into product principles, metrics, and roadmaps while balancing traveler confidence, partner success, and long-term marketplace health.
How you’ll add value
- Build discovery as a decision system: Own how travelers move from choice overload to clarity by defining how relevance, value for money, and quality are established and communicated.
- Make discovery adaptive to context and intent: Design a context-aware system that responds to how and why travelers arrive, ensuring entry experiences and ranking adapt to channel, timing, and constraints.
- Esure end-to-end consistency and trust: Take responsibility for coherence across Web and App, particularly around pricing and value signals, to reinforce confidence throughout the journey.
- Exercise judgment at scale: Operate effectively in ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces, balancing experimentation with conviction to raise quality without slowing momentum.
You’ll be successful in this role if you
- Bring 10+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of large, ambiguous problem spaces in Search, Discovery, and Conversion within a high-volume B2C marketplace.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to translate supply constraints and demand signals into a clear product thesis, making explicit tradeoffs that deliver measurable business impact.
- Possess deep working knowledge of search and ranking systems, with the ability to debate technical tradeoffs with Engineering and Data Science as a peer.
- Lead through influence and horizontal alignment across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Retention to drive shared outcomes.
- Communicate with clarity, resolving competing priorities and maintaining strategic coherence in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
