We are currently seeking a motivated team player to join our Search & Landing team as a Backend Engineer. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, reliable, and efficient backend code that supports our mission to provide exceptional travel experiences for our customers. If you are a creative problem solver with a solid background in PHP development and a passion for using technology to solve business challenges, we want to hear from you!

• Implement and maintain scalable, reliable, and performant software systems using PHP, Symfony, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Kubernetes
• Collaborate effectively with developers both inside and outside the Search & Landing team
• Help shape our tech stack to be low-maintenance with minimal incidents
• Establish and contribute to best practices, continuously improving the codebase of our systems
• Work closely with business stakeholders to plan and execute a product-driven roadmap
• Communicate proficiently in English at a professional business level

• Have 2+ years of experience developing systems using PHP or another backend programming language
• Have good experience with enterprise MVC frameworks, ideally Symfony
• Are familiar with core principles such as SOLID, DRY, and general design patterns
• Possess strong SQL and data organization skills, with expertise in MySQL/MariaDB and search engines like Elasticsearch
• Have experience working with Docker for containerization
