About the Role

The Head of People Operations & Analytics will lead the People Operations and Analytics team to align with strategic priorities and optimize support for Hinge Health's People Team. This role is responsible for overseeing people technology, onboarding, offboarding, HR help desk, global mobility, policy & compliance, immigration and HRIS processes. Additionally, this leader will also be responsible for company-wide analytics related to People e.g. attrition, spans & layers. This leader will ensure efficient workflow, stakeholder management, and the development of team members to meet organizational goals.

What you'll Accomplish

  • Leadership and Strategy: Lead and manage the People Operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and align with organizational goals. Partner with senior leadership to define and execute strategic priorities for the People Team.

  • Employee Support and Onboarding: Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program, enhancing the quality of hire. Oversee the HR help desk, including AI strategy implementation and vendor management.

  • Global Mobility & Compliance: Manage immigration and Employer of Record (EOR) relationships, ensuring compliance with employment laws. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop and maintain employment agreements and policies.

  • HRIS & People Processes: Ensure accuracy and integrity of HRIS data, optimizing business processes for user experience. Centralize and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes to improve efficiency.

  • People Analytics: Help leadership make data driven decisions by building dashboards, analyzing trends and sharing insights. Additionally, invest in building the infrastructure and systems to improve our People Analytics capabilities

Hybrid Model

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations and Analytics

  • Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Workday

  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements

  • Experience managing a team

  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Mode, Looker, or similar platforms
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex queries for data extraction and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Experience with global mobility and immigration processes

  • Experience implementing AI strategies in HR processes

  • Ability to translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Experience presenting to senior executives a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize tasks and focus on delivering the most impactful outcomes

Compensation

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $188,000 - $282,000.
