The GitGuardian platform is already used by more than 600K developers worldwide and by 50 of the fortune 500!

About your team and your mission

Field marketing drives growth at GitGuardian. Events remain one of our top pipeline contributors, connecting us directly with enterprise cybersecurity leaders and developers across Europe.

As we scale our European presence in EMEA we need a Field Marketing Manager who can own our event strategy in the DACH region while supporting broader European initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Field Marketing, Jérémy, you'll work closely with Sales, BDR, and the Marketing team to design, execute, and optimize field marketing programs from events and ABM campaigns to regional initiatives that drive qualified pipeline and strengthen GitGuardian's presence in the European market.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Own our European event calendar, with a strong focus on DACH: benchmark, select, and negotiate sponsorship packages for major industry events

  • Plan and execute GitGuardian's presence at trade shows, conferences, executive dinners, and roundtables—from booth strategy to on-site management

  • Drive pipeline generation by designing pre-event, during-event, and post-event campaigns in collaboration with Sales and Demand Gen teams

  • Manage event budgets (€10K-€50K+ per event), track spend, forecast ROI, and report on performance metrics (cost per lead, pipeline contribution, cost per opportunity)

  • Coach Sales and BDR teams on event best practices: booth engagement, lead qualification techniques, and follow-up processes. Observe performance and provide constructive feedback to improve results

  • Adapt GitGuardian's messaging and positioning for German-speaking audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance in the DACH market

  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships (venues, caterers, AV companies, booth builders, swag suppliers) to ensure quality execution within budget

  • Design memorable event experiences that differentiate GitGuardian from competitors—whether through creative booth activations, unique formats, or standout branding

  • Report event performance to sales leadership and executive team, including lead quality, pipeline impact, and team execution

  • Budget management experience (€100K+ quarterly): you can forecast, track spend, and report on ROI metrics

  • Pipeline generation mindset: strong understanding of B2B demand generation metrics (MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, ROI) and experience working closely with Sales teams to define event success criteria

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail: you can manage multiple complex events simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and handle last-minute crises without breaking a sweat

  • Vendor negotiation experience: you've successfully managed 5-10+ vendor relationships while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness

  • Projects management: you can gain buy-in for your strategies, and manage projects with diplomacy when stakes are high

The following skills would strengthen your application but aren't required:

  • Design skills: working knowledge of Figma, Canva, Illustrator, or Photoshop, with experience briefing design teams
