WHO WE ARE
We build software exclusively for capital markets based on an advanced AI-ready architecture. If you're a self-starter excited about redefining how software is delivered in the financial markets, you'll find a home at Genesis.
We're charting a new path, delivering tailored solutions at scale on a standardized software architecture that accelerates AI integration with financial markets guardrails. Across the life cycle of software, we provide purpose-built solutions for the business, AI tools for builders and agentic-by-design framework for firms on the leading edge of real-world AI adoption.
Clients value us for our deep capital markets expertise, decades of experience delivering and operating mission-critical systems, and rigorous thinking shaping the adoption of AI at development and at run time
To help us achieve our vision of reinventing the way financial markets organizations build software, we are looking for people who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo - people who are passionate about change.
If you are a self-starter and innovative thinker with a client-first mindset, Genesis is for you.
- Join a structured 18-month rotational programme, rotating across six areas — including Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Business Analysis, Quality Engineering, DevOps, and Support — giving you genuine breadth before you specialise.
- Kick-start your career in a role that bridges technology and finance, giving you hands-on experience across software delivery, problem-solving, and direct client interaction.
- Full training and mentoring from experienced consultants — you don't need prior implementation experience, just curiosity and drive.
- You'll be working with a modern platform used by global clients, giving you exposure to real-world technical challenges and enterprise-level solutions.
- A supportive team that invests in your development, with clear progression into senior implementation, product, business analysis, or technical specialisms.
- The chance to see the direct impact of your work: your contributions help customers go live successfully and get real value from the product.
- As part of a global cohort, you'll have the opportunity to work with colleagues across regions, with the potential for international travel as the programme develops.
- You'll join with a cohort of peers from day one — shared learning, social events, and a real community built from the start.
- A role where no two days look the same — you'll constantly be learning, improving, and experimenting with new ideas and tools.
- We’re an in-person team (four days a week in the office) based in the heart of the City (EC3A), giving you great access to colleagues, clients, and everything the area has to offer.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Work directly with clients and users to understand their needs, translating conversations into clear, actionable requirements
- Get hands-on with our platform — configuring, customising, and delivering solutions for real client projects
- Contribute to the full software delivery lifecycle — from requirements and design through to development, testing, deployment, and go-live support
- Investigate issues, debug problems, and collaborate with your team to find elegant, scalable solutions
- Create proof-of-concept builds that showcase what's possible and help clients shape their direction
- In technical rotations: design, code and ship new functionality using Java, Kotlin and TypeScript
- Build knowledge of financial markets and domain context alongside your technical and consulting skills
Your day-to-day will vary by rotation, but across the programme you can expect to:
