WHAT WE NEED
The People Business Partner will play a critical role in shaping and embedding people practices within a growing, single-location business operating within a global organisational framework. The role requires a strong balance of commercial awareness, local execution, and global alignment, ensuring people decisions support business performance, growth, and cultural consistency.
Operating in a scale-up environment, the role will be both strategic and hands-on, ensuring robust HR and legal compliance, building capable leadership, and driving high performance through clear objectives, effective management practice, and strong employee engagement.
The People Business Partner will own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding, acting as a trusted coach to leaders while ensuring local practices align with global principles, standards, and values. Recruitment activity is out of scope.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR generalist in a growing or complex organisation
- Strong employment law knowledge with the ability to operate within global policy frameworks
- Demonstrated commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers
- Experience embedding performance management and leadership capability
- Strong coaching skills with the credibility to influence at leadership level
- Comfortable balancing global consistency with local judgement and pragmatism
- Commercially minded, pragmatic and outcome-focused
- Confident operating between global expectations and local realities
- Resilient and adaptable in fast-changing environments
- Trusted advisor with strong judgement and integrity
