The Project Risk Management Lead is responsible for overseeing project risk assessment activities across the organization. The role ensures that new initiatives, products, processes, and services are assessed for potential risks and aligned with business readiness and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to provide risk recommendations, drive action plans, and support safe and scalable business growth.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead and manage project risk assessment activities for new initiatives, products, and services

  • Identify and assess risk exposures by understanding end-to-end business processes

  • Provide risk recommendations and mitigation plans to support business and regulatory requirements

  • Work closely with Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of committed action items

  • Ensure projects meet business readiness standards and regulatory compliance requirements

  • Prepare and present project risk reports to relevant governance groups and councils

  • Monitor identified risks, gaps, and action plans to improve operational efficiency and prevent issues

  • Support process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to strengthen controls and customer experience

  • Create comprehensive and clear risk reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a strong risk management culture across the organization

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Accounting, or related courses

  • Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in risk management, project management, or process improvement

  • Experience in the digital, fintech, or financial services industry is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of project and program management

  • Good understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Able to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Self-driven, proactive, and willing to learn
