Does (The tasks / responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas)

As BPCM Manager, the person is to serve 3 primary roles:

a) BPCM Cluster Head for related RGG Business Entity Teams: Serves as:

  • Mentor to BPCM Leads within the cluster and/or other BPCM Leads as may benefit from the BPCM Manager’s experience and knowledge

  • Support and Backfill BPCM Leads within the cluster

b) BPCM Lead for an RGG Business Entity: Conducts standard Business Continuity Management Activities

  • Partner with business, enabling, and governance groups and provide guidance throughout the end-to-end Business Continuity Management Journey:

  • Business Impact Analysis/Business Continuity Planning

    • Validate and synthesize BIA results, contingency plans, and critical resources.

    • Communicate BIA results with the unit heads and relevant verticals within the Risk Group.

  • Business Continuity Plan Testing & Exercises

    • Communicate BIA results with the unit heads and relevant verticals within the Risk Group.

    • Provide guidance and recommendations on contingency planning.

    • Assist in facilitating plan testing and exercises, conduct post-mortem reviews, and complete after-action reports.

    • Report results and escalate issues and action items to the management, the business, enabling, and governance groups, and BPCM.

  • Consolidate and synthesize unit BCPs to an entity-wide BCP

c) BPCM Workstream Program Head: Serves as the Primary Program Management Lead for a Business Continuity Management subject matter or area (Governance, Documentation, Training & Awareness, Exercising, or Audit & Compliance):
