Who you’ll be working with:

If you have a strong background in IT, computer science, or software engineering, and are analytical, technologically savvy, solutions and process-focused, then the Technology & Operations team may be for you!

You’ll be responsible for the following:

• Defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for GCash App Modernization & Governance.
• Aligning modernization efforts with business goals, customer experience improvements, and technology advancements.
• Leading the transition from legacy architectures to modern, scalable, and resilient solutions.
• Defining and enforcing app governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and security frameworks.
• Working closely with engineering teams, QA, DevOps, and business units to ensure smooth execution of modernization initiatives.

We’re looking for:

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, mobile development, or cloud-native architectures. Proven experience in modernizing mobile applications (preferably Flutter, Kotlin, Swift, or React Native).
• Strong knowledge of microservices, API gateways, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related services.
• Understanding of app security best practices, compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR), and DevSecOps principles.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
