  • Track emerging compensation and benefits trends, statutory updates, and competitive practices across the India market to support data-driven program decisions.

  • Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, pay bands, and job leveling frameworks.

  • Assist with annual compensation cycles, including merit, promotion, and salary review processes, ensuring data integrity and timely execution.

  • Partner with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance on offers, promotions, and internal transfers.

  • Identify and flag pay compression or equity issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and analyses to support data-driven decision-making by HR and business leaders.

  • Maintain compensation data in the HRIS and ensure accuracy across systems and tools.

  • Support pay transparency initiatives, including the maintenance and communication of compensation ranges.

  • Contribute to documentation of total rewards policies, job descriptions, and process guidelines.

  • Collaborate with Finance and HR Operations to support budgeting and reporting for India compensation programs.

  • Provide analytical support for broader global total rewards projects as needed.

This is not a complete list of responsibilities, and the scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business. This role will require occasional travel for team meetings, training, or company events.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics

  • Solid understanding of compensation fundamentals, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and pay structure design.

  • Experience working with compensation survey tools (Mercer, Aon/Radford, WTW, Zinnov or similar) and interpreting market data.

  • Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills; ability to work with large datasets and build clear, actionable reports.

  • Familiarity with India compensation practices, statutory benefits (PF, gratuity, etc.), and local market norms.

  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and ability to pull and manipulate data.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Availability for some overlap with US Central Time hours for collaboration with the global team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a tech company or PE-backed, high-growth organization.

  • Exposure to global or multi-country compensation programs.

  • Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP, GRP) or active pursuit of one.

  • Experience supporting equity or incentive plan administration is a plus.
