About The Role

The Content Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in our content production workflow, combining excellent project management with sharp writing skills. Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, this position takes ownership of content creation processes while ensuring our distinctive Fora voice remains consistent across all platforms. As the Content Marketing Associate, you will:

  • Create content for the Fora website, both for prospective advisor and traveler audiences.
    Manage the writing process, including Asana workflow and freelancer assignments.
    Review and edit drafts (copy edit, fact check and edit for quality).
    Weave AI into our content production operations to scale the team's impact.
Your role in producing great content will:
  • Impact website traffic via organic search, with a specific goal of improving page views, sessions, time on page and conversions.
  • Educate and guide users, clearly communicating Fora’s value, both in planning travel and as a host agency.
  • Strengthen Fora's brand as an authority within the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial: Writing and Editing (50%)

  • Research and write weekly destination guides in collaboration with the training team
  • Write monthly recurring articles on new hotel partnerships and openings
  • Write topical and seasonal articles as needed
  • Write copy for various marketing assets and cross-team projects
  • Update and edit hotel detail pages as needed for partner hotels
Content Production and Monitoring (40%)
  • Source images and advisor quotes
  • Upload content into Fora’s CMS (Contentful)
  • Create campaign webpages for stakeholders across teams
  • Communicate and manage freelance writers to ensure quality and deadlines
  • Review and approve freelance writers' invoicing
  • Manage tasks in Asana, continually improving the production process
  • Experiment with AI to scale content production and overall impact
Growth Strategies & KPIs (10%)
  • Monitor website performance via GSC and Omni
  • Track content performance using data analytics (Omni)

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience writing for digital publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to be flexible in tone and style
  • Experience with and a keen interest in how emerging AI can serve content functions
  • Proficiency with site analytics tools (e.g., GSC, Ahrefs) and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase, Omni)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Collaborative, teachable and comfortable with rapid change
  • Personal or professional travel experience

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in the travel or hospitality industry
  • Proficiency with a content management system (CMS)
  • Familiarity with SEO best practice and developing understanding of AI impact on SEO

Compensation

Compensation range for this role is $80-$100k + equity. Other benefits include:
