FireMon is the pioneer and innovation leader in Network Security Policy Management (NSPM) leading the way with disruptive technologies and forward-thinking solutions. Here, proactive thinking is not just encouraged—it’s celebrated. Our fast-paced, cutting-edge environment fuels continuous innovation, shaping how we build products, support customers, and drive results every day. We’re hiring a Marketing Content Manager to serve as the editor in chief of our content engine to set the editorial direction, raise the quality bar, and ensure every piece of content tells a consistent, human story that connects technical expertise to real customer needs.
While you’ll guide the strategy and editorial standards, this is also a hands-on role. You’ll be responsible for the creation and coordination of content across multiple formats and channels from thought leadership articles and technical explainers to sales enablement materials, partner-ready content, and PR/brand assets. Working cross-functionally with product marketing, demand gen, sales, and channel teams, you’ll make sure FireMon’s voice is distinctive, credible, and impactful in a crowded cybersecurity market.

What You'll Do

  • Content Development
  • o Write, edit, and manage a steady pipeline of content including blogs, white papers, bylines, case studies, solution briefs, videos, infographics, and email campaigns.
o Translate technical concepts into human, consumable narratives that resonate with target personas (CISOs, security architects, compliance leaders, etc.).
o Ensure content supports PR, analyst relations, and brand initiatives with clarity and relevance.
  • Sales & Partner Enablement
  • o Create content that equips sales teams and channel partners with the right assets for every stage of the deal cycle (e.g., competitive one-pagers, customer presentations, ROI/benchmark briefs).
o Develop tailored content series that can be leveraged by account executives, TAMs, and partner reps in customer conversations.
  • Content Strategy & Governance
  • o Partner with product marketing and demand gen to map content to the buyer’s journey and campaign themes.
o Ensure consistency of brand voice, messaging, and style across all touchpoints.
o Manage a content calendar that supports PR, events, SEO, and field marketing priorities.
  • Creativity & Differentiation
  • o Bring creative and innovative ideas that make FireMon stand out within the cybersecurity industry.
o Experiment with new formats, storytelling angles, and design approaches to break through a crowded market.
o Source and shape stories from across the organization that highlight FireMon’s unique value.
  • Collaboration & Amplification
  • o Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts (SMEs), sales, sales engineering, channel, and product leaders to source and shape stories.
o Coordinate with agencies, freelancers, and internal designers for content production and promotion.
o Support “call for papers” and speaking submission efforts with strong abstracts and supporting content.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software.
  • Proven ability to write and edit high-quality content for multiple audiences and channels (blogs, case studies, white papers, sales decks).
  • Strong understanding of the B2B buying journey and how to align content with demand gen and sales motions.
  • Experience supporting channel/partner ecosystems with co-branded or partner-ready content.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital distribution.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with analyst relations or PR teams.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure markets.
  • Experience coordinating with freelance writers, designers, and agencies.
