We’re looking for a videographer + editor who's ready to step up, take charge and produce internet-breaking content that sports fans will love. Fanatics, the leading sports merchandise and collectibles retailer is seeking a videographer to work alongside a proven creative team to help ideate, produce, shoot and edit content across their social media presence on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. What You'll Do:

  • Work alongside the creative team to shoot and edit engaging and original video content for use across various social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube and others
  • Should be comfortable traveling to shoots to film content featuring fans, and sometimes professional athletes and celebrities
  • Our ideal candidate will also be responsible for brainstorming and planning content. You’ll work alongside the rest of our creative team to answer briefs and come up with original ideas for videos based on our social media strategy and goals
  • On your shoots, you’ll help own the video production process from concept to final delivery, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends and best practices
  • Assist in maintaining an organized library of video content for future reference
  • Advise on the procurement of video equipment with our producers

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years experience in videography and video editing, ideally for social
  • A bachelor's degree in film, design or related field
  • Mind-blowing cinematography and editing portfolio (with social examples)
  • Highly skilled in video editing software, like Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Pro.
  • Highly skilled at camera operation and basic lighting setups. Should be comfortable filming with both DSLR cameras and iPhone capture, depending on the project goals
  • Highly skilled at audio recording and editing.
  • Deep passion for sports and fan culture in at least three of the following sports: NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, Soccer and NCAA
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Some knowledge of AI Editing tools
  • Optional: comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite tools, especially Photoshop
  • Optional: you’re comfortable being featured in content yourself

Achieving our goals requires strong collaboration and partnership between our teams and our internal stakeholders. To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. To provide our employees with flexibility, we offer a unique benefit where employees at Fanatics' corporate entity can work remotely for up to four weeks per year, which can be taken in daily or weekly increments.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
