Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud Technical Architect
Fanatics
About the team:
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. Backed by some of the best investors, sports properties, and operators in the world, we’re integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform (inclusive of 900 sports relationships and more than 80 million fans) to reimagine the collectibles business.
About the role:
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for an Oracle Cloud Technical Architect for our growing Finance Systems team to design our Oracle Cloud technical, reporting and integration architecture and day-to-day operations. This role will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Data Engineering, and Technology to deliver secure, scalable enhancements, reports and integrations that streamline processes and elevate data quality across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, technically adept, and a hands-on collaborative leader.
What you’ll be doing:
Own & Evolve Our Technical Landscape
- Serve as the product owner for Oracle Cloud Technical architecture that powers the functionality within and between Oracle Fusion HCM/ERP/EPM and the broader modules in the Fanatics ecosystem.
- Define and maintain technical architecture, ensuring high‑availability, security, and performance across enhancements, reports and integrations.
- Leverage Business Intelligence Cloud Connectors to extract data needed to feed the Operational and Financial Data Lake in a Snowflake environment
Run & Stabilize
- Lead a blended on‑shore/off‑shore support team, managing incident queues and meeting or beating SLA targets for reports, enhancements and integrations.
- Must be a hands-on Developer who can jump in to start working on a POC or building a new report, enhancement or integration.
- Oversee quarterly OCI/Oracle Fusion patches—planning regression tests, coordinating cut‑overs, and communicating new capabilities to Finance and Technology stakeholders.
Secure & Govern
- Design and administer Oracle Fusion security and OCI IAM roles, policies, and compartments, ensuring least‑privilege access and clean separation of duties for service accounts and human users.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated runbooks for rapid root‑cause analysis and recovery.
Innovate & Scale
- Partner with the Teams to expand the Oracle footprint globally, spearheading fit‑gap, prototyping, and phased rollouts of new system use cases.
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging AI tools and OCI services (Queues, Functions, AI Services) and adjacent tools (Alteryx, RPA) to streamline finance processes and improve data quality.
Partner & Influence
- Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Supply Chain, and Data Engineering teams—translating business requirements into secure, maintainable solutions in a fast paced environment.
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience designing, building, and supporting Oracle Cloud Extensions, Integrations, Custom Objects and Reports on Oracle Cloud (OCI/OIC) or comparable iPaaS platforms.
- Must be a hands-on Developer / Architect with a vast knowledge around Oracle Cloud Technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with OCI IAM, dynamic groups, policies, and compartment design; understands how external roles map into Oracle Fusion Security.
- Track record of leading cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams, including third‑party vendors and offshore resources.
- In‑depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, event‑driven architectures, and secure file transfer patterns.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, using Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communicator who can translate technical details into business impacts for executive audiences.
- Experience with Financial Accounting Hub is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM implementations and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (Terraform, CI/CD, Git) in an OCI context.
- Certification(s): Oracle Technical Architect Associate/Professional or Integration Cloud certifications.
- Experience in consumer products, e‑commerce, or other high‑growth, data‑rich industries.
