VIP Payments Analyst
As a VIP Payments Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and tracking VIP payment related incidents/inquiries. You will be responsible for VIP payments alerting, be the subject matter expert on VIP payments and act as the point of contact during any VIP payment incidents. In this role, you will collaborate with different departments; such as fraud, regulatory operations, compliance & AML.
What You Will Do As A VIP Payments Analyst
- Act as the VIP payments front line of FanaticsSportsbook by communicating directly with customers through emails, chats, and phone calls.
- Help share payments insights and trends to all business areas, including product, marketing, and operations.
- Reconcile customer VIP payments and withdrawals daily with third-party vendors and banking institutions.
- Liaise with various business teams to make appropriate corrections for any variances.
- Work within a team environment to gather, interpret and analyze VIP payments data.
- Interact with internal client data tools and software to extract information upon request.
- Provide inbound support related to customer financial inquiries.
- Recognize possible suspicious, fraudulent, or AML activity and partner with the Fraud team to resolve it.
- Will assist VIP Payments Manager with the wire deposit and withdrawal process.
- Work with VIP leadership to identify any trends and help mitigate further risk.
- Performs regular testing on our VIP deposit/withdrawal solutions to proactively identify potential issues/challenges.
- Work within the VIP team to ensure optimal practices are being followed.
- Perform all related and compatible duties as assigned and assist in ad hoc projects.
What Skills You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in a payments-related industry.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field will be considered an asset.
- Intermediate Excel skills are highly preferred but not required.
- Experience in writing payment disputes/chargeback responses.
- Investigative curiosity with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Understanding of gaming and payment processes.
- Competence with Salesforce & the G Suite products.
- Ability to work a hybrid remote and in office schedule that will include weekends.
- Ability to become and maintain licensing in multiple jurisdictions.
