Overview
Location: 100% onsite - based either in Denver, CO or Jacksonville, Florida
As an IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist II at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will be part of a collaborative and customer-focused support team. We're building the most innovative and data-driven betting experience in the industry—and we know that starts with having the right technology in the right hands. You’ll play a critical role in supporting the full lifecycle of our IT assets—from laptops and mobile devices to software—ensuring they're deployed, maintained, and retired with precision and accountability.
This role is central to keeping our tech environment clean, compliant, and optimized. You’ll manage incoming requests via Jira, ensuring that hardware and software provisioning aligns with internal policies, licensing agreements, security standards and ITAM best practices. You'll be the go-to for maintaining the integrity of our Asset Database from an Operations perspective and for making sure the right assets are in the right place—whether that’s onboarding new hires, supporting day-to-day operations, addressing lost/stolen assets or offboarding team members. We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and who’s passionate about data accuracy, process improvement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Asset Lifecycle Management (Primary Focus)
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets throughout their lifecycle (procurement, deployment, usage, retirement/disposal).
- Monitor asset performance, usage, and compliance to optimize value and reduce redundancy and cost.
- Forecast asset needs and execute procurement process
- Ensure timely retirement, reassignment, or disposal of obsolete or unused IT assets.
System Oversight & Compliance
- Administer and maintain the IT Asset Management System (ITAMS) via Oomnitiza
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical and digital assets.
- Support licensing compliance and ensure adherence to vendor agreements and regulatory standards.
Reporting & Strategy
- Produce detailed dashboards, reports on asset location, performance, usage, compliance, and cost.
- Analyze trends and recommend improvements in asset deployment and utilization.
- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation through data-driven insights.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work with IT Asset Hubs on streamlining SOPs, continuous innovation via automation
- Onboard new vendors thru VMO process.
- Coordinate with IT, security, operations, and other teams to support seamless implementation and tracking of assets.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of ITAM policies, standards, and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and departments on ITAM processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance across teams such as the Global Service Desk regarding documentation on ITAM policies and best practices
Service Desk: (Secondary Focus)
- Provide technical support to internal users and external partners
- Respond to user inquiries via all support channels (e.g., Slack, Email, Jira, etc.)
- Remain current on technology and support trends.
- Help onboard new service desk analysts and personnel
- Ensure trouble tickets are kept up to date as well as provide timely and accurate updates to the reporter.
- Help ensure that processes used by the service desk team are well-documented and communicated
- Triage service requests and escalate as necessary with the IT functional teams (e.g., Security, Engineering, DevOps, etc.)
- Partner with SMEs to prepare reference material for users by drafting operation instructions and updating the company knowledge base with tech tips
- Report common issues identified with service partners to management for escalation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision (e.g., use company documentation and/or research using traditional and online resources)
- Must be available for on-call rotation after normal business hours and on weekends as an escalation point, serve as the Major Incident Coordinator for P1s supporting the Incident Commander and onsite contact.
- Maintains security, confidentiality and adheres to best practice standards
- Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team-building activities.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in IT asset management, Service Desk or Desktop Support
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and familiarity with asset management tools (e.g., Oomnitiza, JAMF, SCCM, Lansweeper).
- Foundational understanding of compliance, audit procedures, and IT lifecycle processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Experience delivering customer support in a tech-driven environment.
Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Certifications in IT Asset Management (e.g., IAITAM, CSAM, CHAMP).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., gaming, fintech).
- Working knowledge of MDM tools (e.g., Intune, AirWatch).

The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award. *Salary range is listed in USD; actual salary will vary based on location. *Salary Range: $64,000 - 91,000 per year (actual salary will be determined in part by a successful candidate’s geographic location). In addition to base salary, bonus, and equity, full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, paid time off, and other benefits like GymPass, Pet Insurance, Family Care Benefits, and more. We’ll also give you $700 to set up your home office! Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
