Engineer III

Engineer III wanted by FBG Enterprises Opco, LLC in New York, NY. This role is ONSITE 5 days a week.

Architect, design, implement, test, and maintain software and a highly available, highly scalable solution to build a scalable and performant Search Architecture. Write code that helps build a performant and accurate search engine. Design scalable architecture to help drive optimal solutions long term. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leaders to define and deliver the correct product Mentor, build rapport, help review overall design, and give feedback to Search Software team members’ code. Help the development team define and adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the engineering strategy. OpenSearch Solutions Architecture. Build highly scalable API models that drive the delivery of 100s of request per second. Manage multiple TB of Data for Indexing Search Capabilities Develop model driven ranking solutions to support business use cases Spring Boot.

Salary: $193,800.00 per year plus benefits.

Requires: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or related, and 1 year experience in job offered or as a Software Engineer, or Bachelor’s Degree in same fields plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in field which includes 1 year in job offered or as a Software Engineer, or any other qualifying combination of education, training, or experience. Requires 1 year of experience with the following skills/tools (which may have been gained concurrently):

• Junit, Distributed systems, Multi-tiered systems, Algorithms, Databases, Git, Implement and host scalable service with various design patterns in Java;
• Docker and Kubernetes; and
• Software Development Lifecycle and ticketing systems.
