We are a team of passionate, driven individuals committed to excellence, innovation, and redefining our industry.
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Deployment Lead to take ownership of the hardware deployment process from beginning to end. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys solving logistics challenges, and is passionate about keeping operations running smoothly. You will play a critical part in ensuring that our products are configured, packaged, and delivered accurately and on time to clients around the world.
In addition to client-focused deployments, this role will also be responsible for managing in-house inventory, ensuring our internal hardware and materials are accurately tracked, organized, and ready for use.
This role also owns the relationship with our 3PL (third-party logistics provider) and is responsible for managing shipping restrictions, customs clearance issues, and staying up to date with evolving global logistics requirements and trade regulations.
Note: This role is on-site and requires regular physical presence to support hardware handling, inventory, and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Configuration: Set up and configure hardware according to client-specific requirements.
- Shipping Coordination: Create shipping labels, manage outgoing shipments, and resolve delivery issues or exceptions to ensure successful product delivery.
- Logistics Oversight: Maintain and update a global list of shipping restrictions and customs regulations to ensure compliance across international destinations. Resolve day-to-day customs or delivery issues and stay informed on changing global shipping rules, tariffs, and import/export restrictions.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory intake and conduct monthly counts, ensuring accurate reconciliation for month-end reporting. Maintain and manage in-house inventory, ensuring availability and accuracy of internal stock.
- Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management: Own the relationship with our 3PL partner, acting as the main point of contact for coordination, issue resolution, and performance oversight.
- System Implementation: Lead the rollout of an in-house inventory system and tracker, ensuring tools are effective and easy for teams to use.
- Team Coordination: Provide day-to-day task coordination and informal oversight of 2 Deployment Specialists, supporting them in prioritization, execution, and process alignment.
- Workflow Optimization: Identify and propose improvements in deployment and logistics workflows to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure deployment standards are met and act as a point of escalation for more complex issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally to support deployment best practices and assist in streamlining workflows for better efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, operations, or hardware deployment roles
- Comfortable working hands-on while guiding others and coordinating daily tasks
- Experience with international shipping regulations, including customs, tariffs, and working with 3PL partners
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable using shipping tools and inventory management systems
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve operational issues
- Excellent communication skills, especially when working cross-functionally or with third-party logistics providers
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Able to thrive independently while being a collaborative team player
Nice to Have:
