This is a hybrid position where you'll be required to be in office at least two days a week with the flexibility to work from home the remaining days if desired.

About The Role:

To support our growth, we are expanding our Professional Services team and are looking for a Solution Engineer. The successful candidate will bring a track record of helping B2B clients succeed by providing technical expertise and hands-on guidance during business requirement gathering, solution design, and implementation.

Part relationship-builder and part technical expert, the Solution Engineer will have a knack for understanding client needs and mapping them into scalable solutions. This role requires the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, approachable way to non-technical audiences, while also collaborating with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure smooth, technically sound implementations.

In this role, you will:

• Act as a FacilityOS product expert, staying current with technologies and industry practices to provide trusted guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Lead discovery and solution-mapping sessions, designing and delivering implementations and integrations that align with client needs and technical feasibility.
• Manage project execution by tracking progress, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timelines and deliverables are achieved.
• Partner with Engineering to validate integration approaches, resolve technical issues, and share customer insights to inform the product roadmap.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training, simplifying complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to RFPs, RFQs, and security questionnaires, ensuring FacilityOS solutions are accurately and effectively represented.
• Support Sales, Customer Success, and Account teams with technical expertise during scoping, solution design, and client expansion opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Degree or professional background in a relevant field.
• Experience in IT, enterprise software, or SaaS environments.
• Comfortable leading client-facing calls and engaging with end users.
• Strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to map business requirements to software capabilities and present solutions for enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and enterprise IT environments.
• Familiarity with challenges faced by industries such as manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, or airports (asset).
• Ability to leverage AI tools for workflow automation, analytics, and knowledge assistance to improve client outcomes.
• Experience with AI-powered SaaS platforms such as OpenAI Enterprise or Microsoft Copilot is encouraged and considered an asset.
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
