Who We Need

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the full accounting operations of our freight and logistics client's business. This role requires a strong understanding of end-to-end financial management within a high-volume, operations-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has successfully managed accounting functions across revenue recognition, cost control, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership within a logistics, freight, or supply chain setting.

What You'll Do:

Financial Operations Oversight

• Lead full-cycle accounting in a high-volume freight and logistics environment (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, intercompany).
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting.

Revenue & Cost Management

• Oversee revenue recognition and cost allocations; ensure proper accruals and reconciliations.
• Monitor billing accuracy, margin performance, and profitability trends to identify optimization opportunities.

Compliance & Controls

• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate audits.

Cash Flow & Treasury

• Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and collections.
• Monitor foreign currency exposure as needed.
• Leadership & Business Partnership
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to improve financial visibility and support strategic planning.

What You Need:

• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Proven track record of overseeing full end-to-end accounting operations in freight and logistics.
• Strong analytical skills and systems proficiency.
• Advanced English communication skills (C1 level or equivalent), both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Willingness to work on a night shift schedule.
