This role builds the capability, consistency, and confidence of Exclaimer’s Business Operations team by supporting enablement programmes, optimising processes, and driving successful change adoption. Acting as a strategic partner to Transformation and Engineering, this role ensures operational excellence today while developing into the future deputy to the VP of Business Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build team capability and operational excellence
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve enablement programs to strengthen operational, technical, and business skills across the team.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Foster a learning culture that encourages experimentation, feedback, and professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and shared success.
  • Map, document, and continuously refine end-to-end processes to remove friction and manual effort.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce process standards that align with Transformation and Engineering roadmaps.
  • Leverage data and insights to drive decisions, track improvements, and communicate impact.
  • Enable alignment and collaboration across Business Operations
  • Partner with the Head of Transformation and the Head of Engineering to ensure enablement supports shared priorities and key initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-team forums, retrospectives, and best practice sharing to break down silos.
  • Proactively identify risks or gaps in execution and recommend solutions.
  • Act as operational deputy to the VP of Business Operations
  • Step in to represent the department when needed, ensuring continuity of leadership.
  • Provide strategic input to department planning, prioritisation, and resource management.
  • Mentor emerging leaders within the team to strengthen succession planning.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Proven track record in business operations, business enablement, operational excellence, or similar roles within a complex, fast-changing organisation.
  • Stakeholder management skills to engage cross-functional teams and business leaders.
  • Exposure to working alongside engineering / transformation / systems teams.
  • Naturally collaborative and supportive — thrives in a peer leadership team.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: always looking for better ways to work.
  • High accountability, resilience, and adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic priorities with operational detail.
