Key Responsibilities
About the Role
Exclaimer is seeking a hands-on Director of Marketing to build and own the strategy for creating and accelerating pipeline growth across the U.S. This role is critical to driving new business opportunities by targeting IT decision-makers with a mix of direct and channel marketing strategies. We are looking for an experienced, data-driven leader who can hit the ground running—developing tactical short-term plans and building long-term scalable programs aligned with business growth goals
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Own the Demand Generation Strategy: Create and execute integrated demand generation plans that drive consistent pipeline creation, aligned to U.S. revenue targets.
- IT Persona Targeting: Build campaigns that deeply resonate with IT audiences, understanding their decision-making process, trust drivers, and buying behaviors.
- Pipeline Modeling and Forecasting: Model revenue targets into clear, actionable pipeline plans, leveraging historical data, segmentation strategies, and demand benchmarks.
- Sales Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the sales organization, aligning on goals, providing visibility into pipeline performance, and iterating campaigns to drive conversion.
- Cross-Channel Collaboration: Collaborate with global performance marketing, content, and channel marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and campaign integration, while owning U.S. execution.
- Channel Marketing Coordination: Partner with the U.S. channel marketing team to ensure cohesive plans between direct and channel-led pipeline creation.
- Test-and-Learn Culture: Drive a culture of experimentation, continuously optimizing channels, messaging, and offers based on performance data.
- Team Builder and Mentor: Experienced at building, managing, and scaling demand generation and marketing teams. Able to create structure, prioritize resources, coach individual contributors, and lay the groundwork for long-term team success in a high-growth environment.
- AI-Driven Marketing Optimization: Harness AI and automation tools to refine audience targeting, personalize campaign experiences, and enhance performance insights across all demand generation programs.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 7+ years in a senior demand generation leadership role.
- Proven track record of building demand generation strategies that consistently deliver against pipeline targets.
- Strong experience targeting IT buyers and understanding technical buyer behavior.
- Deep expertise in modeling pipeline to revenue, managing against conversion metrics, and forecasting results.
- Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, growth-stage companies
- Hands-on approach with a high level of ownership and execution agility.
- Strong collaboration skills with sales, marketing, and channel teams.
- Comfortable operating in a global matrixed environment, while owning regional outcomes
