We’re hiring a Strategic Account Manager at our rental facility in Deer Park, TX, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (On call during the weekend only in special circumstances)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic management and development of defined customer accounts within the construction equipment and industrial tooling sectors, ensuring sustained growth, retention, and service excellence.

  • Serve as the executive liaison to new and existing strategic customers, overseeing onboarding, performance monitoring, and long-term collaboration to meet their evolving needs.

  • Analyze customer and market trends within the industrial and construction market space to identify strategic opportunities for new product categories, service enhancements, and distribution efficiencies.

  • Represent strategic accounts in internal leadership discussions, contributing to operational planning, margin improvement, and growth strategies tailored to the industry.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to drive scalable improvements in account management and supply chain integration specifically for construction and industrial equipment.

  • Build strong partnerships across sales, purchasing, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless execution and accountability for strategic customer needs.

  • Participate in contract reviews, pricing strategy, and risk assessment related to new partnerships and distribution initiatives.

  • Support succession planning and the future development of a high-performing team around strategic accounts.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, with an ability to link customer needs with internal capabilities and execution.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex customer relationships and logistics for large-scale construction or industrial products.

  • Deep understanding of supply chain workflows, ERP systems, and customer relationship management processes.

  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

  • Adept at navigating complex relationships and balancing competing priorities.

  • Ability to influence and lead through collaboration rather than authority.

  • Experience in contract negotiation, customer performance management, and service-level accountability is a plus.
