EquipmentShare is searching for a Dealer Compliance Coordinator for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.

Salary range: $94k-$133k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.

Job Summary:

The Dealer Compliance Coordinator will ensure our stores’ compliance with dealer policies, contractual obligations, and industry regulations. The role involves monitoring, auditing, and providing support to EquipmentShare stores to maintain strict adherence to performance standards and regulatory requirements. The coordinator will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in compliance, auditing, or dealer management.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular visits to EquipmentShare stores to ensure compliance with respective dealers’ policies, industry regulations, and contractual agreements. Track and document dealer performance metrics, addressing and following up potential gaps.
  • Policy Enforcement: Review dealer contracts and agreements to verify adherence to terms and conditions. Recommend corrective actions or penalties for non-compliance and work with stores General Managers to resolve issues.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance to stores on compliance requirements, policies, and best practices. Serve as the primary contact for dealer compliance-related inquiries and issues.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed compliance reports and maintain accurate records of findings, and resolutions. Present compliance updates and risk assessments to management. Track and report compliance metrics and risk areas to leadership.
  • Collaboration and Improvement: Work closely with internal departments such as sales, legal, and operations to streamline compliance processes. Identify opportunities for improving compliance strategies and dealer support initiatives.
  • Acquisition Due Diligence: Be the lead for all acquisition work related to contract compliance with new OEM’s and assuring standards are being met during the discovery phase.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with stores, internal teams, and OEM vendors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and data analytics skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to conduct on-site dealer visits and audits.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 4 years of experience in compliance, dealer network management, or a related role, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices in heavy equipment sales and service.
  • Project manager certification is a plus.
