EquipmentShare is searching for a Senior HRIS Analyst for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.
Salary range: $97k-$108k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.
Job Summary:
The Senior HRIS Analyst will provide expert level knowledge of Workday functionality, features, configuration and best practices and is responsible for managing the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and will serve as the technical subject matter expert.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the optimal function of the HRIS systems, namely Workday, including customization, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
- Serve as a technical partner to business stakeholders on Workday integration improvements and projects from ideation to stabilization.
- Lead the implementation, upgrade and daily maintenance of Workday modules; specifically Security and Integrations.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the HRIS and understand functional gaps.
- Maintain knowledge of future system upgrades/releases and assess impact on current processes.
- Solicit feedback from end users on system functionality and determine if end user concerns can be addressed with modification or additions to existing system functionality.
- Provide ongoing support to end users during implementation and maintenance of new functionalities to include addressing training needs and troubleshooting.
- Suggest business process changes to maximize value received from HRIS systems and minimize manual work outside the systems. Work with business process owners and Learning and Development team to document proposed and approved processes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of HR business processes preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work without constant supervision and is a self starter.
- Ability to work quickly and think logically, especially under pressure.
- Thrives on learning and growth opportunities; desires new challenges and enjoys a good puzzle.
- Sound communication skills and the ability to influence and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of payroll and benefit modules preferred.
- Detail oriented, but able to pivot and re-prioritize efforts as required.
- Ability to use diplomacy and tact when handling problems.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a positive manner.
Education and Experience:
- At least 4 years experience in HR Analyst position or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience in Workday.
- Expert level knowledge of Workday Integrations and Workday Security.
- Knowledge of Workday Studio required.
- Additional Workday module and/or enterprise level system experience is a plus (Greenhouse, UKG, Docebo, Okta, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- Required a minimum of quarterly paid travel to meet with various stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to work standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
